Growing up in Hay River, NWT, Dr. Leung found the city a little too small for his tastes, and as soon as he graduated high school, he headed for the big city to study Microbiology at the University of Calgary. Following graduation, he continued on to the University of Alberta, where received his doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2000.
A father of two small children, Dr. Leung is extremely passionate about family. He loves watching them grow and learn about the world around them. Dr. Leung and his wife both love golf, as it allows them to tune out the busyness of everyday life. Dr. Leung and his wife are both strong supporters of Canadian Food for the Hungry, as well as his local church. He feels that both provide so much for the community by providing needed food and shelter, education, and general support.
Dr. Leung strives for perfection in everything that he does. He is passionate about the importance of treating people with respect and enjoying the simpler things in life like spending time with friends and family.
